Magnusson Klemencic Associates is at the forefront of sustainable design, with an in-house group of experts led by a LEED™ Accredited Professional. We are a member of the U.S. Green Building Council and the structural engineers for “IslandWood,” the first gold-certified LEED™ project in the State of Washington. Our Civil Department is involved in the implementation of green strategies on individual projects (such as rainwater harvesting) as well as regional sustainable infrastructure, working towards a goal of propagating “Green Streets” throughout major metropolitan areas.
