What’s Happening at MKA

08.03.2021 — Every year, MKA looks forward to participating in Food Frenzy, two fun-filled weeks of events where businesses and community groups raise money in support of Food Lifeline’s important work to end hunger in Western Washington.

While last year’s Food Frenzy was held virtually, this year MKA staff was thrilled to gather in person and bond through friendly tournaments of Jeopardy!, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, whirlyball, and cornhole, along with raffles for board games and bottles of wine. Our leadership team raffled off multiple community-building events, such as a boat tour of Lake Washington, stand-up paddleboarding, a golf outing, oyster-shucking competitions, a scenic flight around Seattle, a cocktail night, and more.

During the two-week period from July 16-30, MKA staff and generous matching sponsors raised $20,147, which is a record for Team MKA and allows Food Lifeline to provide 100,735 meals! A huge thank you to everyone who donated. If you would like to volunteer or donate to Food Lifeline anytime, please visit https://foodlifeline.org/.
