37-story, 36,046-m² (388,000-ft²), 143-unit residential tower with 8 levels of parking, floor-to-ceiling windows, and rooftop terraces with civil site design for one-quarter city block. The tower was designed using a state-of-the-art performance-based seismic design approach and was the first “taller slender” tower approved under the City of Seattle’s new zoning regulations. At the time of completion, it was the second tallest residential tower in Seattle. Located mid-block in the downtown core, MKA’s design included street frontage improvements and an integrated stormwater detention vault.
