58,750-m² (632,380-ft²) P3 design/build hospital redevelopment, including an 8-story, 231-bed, acute care center; 45,065 m² (485,076 ft²) of clinical and support space; and 5,000 m² (53,820 ft²) of below-grade parking for 180 cars, designed for phased horizontal expansion. MKA’s design saved nearly $3 million by increasing column spacing to a more efficient layout and utilizing a ductile shear wall system to provide open bays and reduced concrete volume.
