57-story, performance-based seismic design residential tower with 758 units, amenity and street-level retail space, and 11 levels of parking above and below grade.
An early test case for the Embodied Carbon in Construction Calculator (EC3), the project team requested EPDs from suppliers and evaluated opportunities to reduce carbon with lower carbon concrete mix strategies, which ultimately resulted in ~13,650 metric tons of verifiable equivalent carbon dioxide from being released into the atmosphere during the project’s construction at no additional cost to the owner.
