A 24-story, 241,548-m² (2.6-million-ft²) design/build healthcare facility offering emergency and interventional services, units for intensive and acute care, an ambulatory clinic, an imaging center, and space for hospital support programs and visitors. In addition, the design of this flagship and visually iconic building utilizes MKA’s unique structural hybrid system, which allows the central patient tower to appear to “float” above the main building block, while a wing for patient beds strikingly cantilevers over the building’s low-rise portion and toward the shoreline of Abu Dhabi’s Al Sowah Island.
