6,410-m² (69,000-ft²), six-bay Fire Station, Emergency Operations Center, and 24/7 Fire Alarm Center and civil site design for a full-city block, designed to an "Essential Facility" standard (with 72-hour standalone operation) at a much lower cost than a traditional base-isolation system. Shoring solutions included permanent support of an adjacent deteriorating bridge using a first-of-its-kind approach for Seattle. A 45,400-litre (12,000-gallon) stormwater cistern collects both rain and fire drill water, which is then recycled for truck washing and irrigation of a monitored green roof.
