14-story, 41,906-m² (450,000-ft²) medical office building with clinics, specialty laboratories, and radiology facilities, with civil site design for a full city block. The LEED Gold project also included redesign of a below-grade parking structure (also by MKA, for a previously proposed facility) to accommodate the new above-grade structure and an emergency generator plant. Innovative civil solutions eliminated the need for costly detention tanks and a unique stabilization method for 1,815 kg (4,000 lbs) of City transformers, Metro bus lines, and light posts during excavation.
