Five-level, 102,193-m² (1.1 million-ft²), state-of-the-art, design/build convention center featuring a first-ever full-building-depth "super-truss" structural system that minimized building height by 15 m (50 ft). Fourteen exposed architectural "tree columns" in the lobby support a tension glass system, skylights, and rooftop "sails." The truss system provided ideal structural modules for each usage, with the interstitial space captured for meeting rooms and an 802-car parking garage.
