67,513-m² (726,700-ft²) design/build expansion and 4,617-m² (49,700-ft²) renovation of an existing convention center, adding two new exhibition halls, each 9,746-m² (102,000-ft²); a 5,110-m² (55,000-ft²) ballroom; a 5,574-m² (60,000-ft²) multi-function hall; a grand lobby; support areas; and a new entry plaza. MKA’s structural solutions maximized the height of the grand lobby and delivered on strict vibration performance requirements of the new ballroom located directly above.
