Six-story, 13,471-m² (145,000-ft²) design/build federal courthouse, with three courtrooms; spaces for the U.S. Attorney’s office, U.S. Marshal Service offices, three justices, and support services; and one level of secured below-grade parking for 480 cars. The LEED Gold building is designed for collapse prevention and locally hardened for blast loads. MKA’s structural design helped the GSA deliver the federal courthouse in a record 27 months, 6 months ahead of schedule.
