- 2016 IDEAS2 Awards National Award Winners - $15 Million to $75 Million Category, AISC
Two-building office/data center campus featuring a 7-story "South Building" with three office levels, two data center levels, and an architecturally significant penthouse above a large first-floor assembly space; and a 3-story "North Building" with ground-level retail and upper-level laboratories; with a 4-story atrium connecting the two buildings and civil site design for 1-hectare (2.3-acre) urban site. Targeting zero stormwater discharge, the project emphasizes water stewardship and celebrates stormwater runoff throughout. MKA’s design also included relocation of a primary city thoroughfare as well as several major utility lines.
