Phased reconfiguration, expansion, and modernization to a fully operational U.S. port of entry, including a 198-m- (650-ft-) long cable-tensioned primary inspection canopy, a 120-m (395-ft) secondary canopy, four new inspection areas, a seizure building, a five-story parking garage, a subgrade access tunnel, and seismic retrofit of a historical structure. Civil solutions include a 1.5-million-liter (400,000-gallon) rainwater reclamation system and on-site sewage treatment, contributing toward LEED Platinum and "net zero" for all non-potable water and zero discharge for stormwater.
