One-story, 1,115-m² (12,000-ft²) office building designed to be moved and reused. The highly sustainable structure contains 90% recycled steel and can be unbolted into four quadrants, relocated, and reassembled, either in its current capacity or as an adaptive change-of-use. MKA’s civil solutions for the one-half city block including a voluntary eco-street demonstration, rain gardens, permeable pavement, and detention swales, were implemented to serve as a public showcase for urban low-impact design and precluded the need for new underground detention.
