13-story, 63,174-m² (680,000-ft²) vertical addition housing 60 new and 140 replacement beds and a new Imaging Department, with 10 floors stacked on top of 3 existing floors and 7 levels of below-grade parking. Upon completion of floor construction, modifications were made to accommodate a new Imaging Department, which required special testing and reinforcements for vibration-sensitive and heavily specialized equipment (such as a CT scan and MRI Unit).
