28,986-m² (312,000-ft²) design/build office/laboratory facility on 11 hectares (27.6 acres), with three levels above grade and one below. Structural solutions reduced construction time and allowed for a flexible and aesthetically expressive building configuration. The facility houses over 1,100 employees from the Department of Ecology, the Environmental Protection Agency, the Puget Sound Water Quality Authority, and the Conservation Commission.
