Extended Durability

MKA’s Parking Specialist Group has collaborated on 68 free-standing parking garages for facilities up to nine levels. Our comprehensive durability enhancement program for parking structures targets 100-year performance levels and includes options for materials selection, concrete admixture technology, use of deck coatings and sealers, and seismic lateral systems.  Project-specific concept analyses draw upon MKA’s extensive pool of historical data to effectively compare system pros and cons and aid in evaluation.  We also bring solutions to sensitive neighborhood issues such as aesthetics, passive security, pedestrian safety, and sight lines.
