Kevin Aswegan, PE, SE
Since joining MKA in 2013, Kevin has quickly advanced, leading major structural mixed-use high-rise designs in cities such as San Francisco, Miami, Houston, and Toronto. With a focus on advanced Performance-Based Design, he recently managed the groundbreaking ATX Tower project in Austin, the world’s first use of Performance-Based Wind Design. Kevin holds multiple leadership positions in ASCE/SEI, and his contribution to national code development is helping usher in the next wave of PBD standards!

Balancing building performance and flexibility with state-of-the-art approaches to vibration mitigation, James contributes innovative and cost-effective engineering solutions for clients seeking exceptional performance in critical healthcare environments. His latest ambitious project—managing the design for the new Harborview Medical Center Expansion in Seattle!
