Abby is a Senior Associate at MKA and a member of the firm’s Office Specialist Group and Existing Buildings Specialist Team. She is experienced in renovations and seismic improvements to historic and landmark buildings, offering nuance and an overarching array of creative skills and concepts to each new project. Abby is equally at ease parsing out details with design teams and presenting narratives to non-technical audiences. She is MKA’s Subject-Matter Expert on Buckling Restrained Braced Frames, a lateral system common in many high-seismic, steel-framed structures. In addition, Abby leverages her legal background in her daily project work and as the leader of MKA’s Specifications and General Notes team.
