Travis is a Senior Associate at MKA and the firm’s Retail Specialist Group leader. He is uniquely experienced in redeveloping big-box anchor stores—providing custom solutions for the retrofit challenges associated with transforming older mall structures into entertainment and mixed-use destinations—and is skilled at addressing vibration and acoustic challenges for entertainment venues placed within mixed-use facilities. His work portfolio reflects stand-alone retail and entertainment structures; multi-block, mixed-use developments as large as 5.4 million square feet; and long-span steel structures with clear spans up to 230 feet. Travis has worked on projects in seismically active areas such as California, Utah, and Washington.
