18,000-seat design/build Major League Soccer stadium featuring 576 club seats, 12 field-level luxury suites, a freestanding scoreboard, and a single-deck bowl offering some of the closest views of the field in the United States. MKA’s structural solution addresses high regional seismicity, poor soil conditions, and fan-induced vibrations with a lightweight, high-performance steel structure that incorporates “buckling restrained braces” (BRBs). The BRB’s optimize the architectural design and provide wide concourses while cost-effectively resisting lateral forces.
