Renovation of a historic turn-of-the-century power plant into a 6,503-m² (70,000-ft²) flagship retail store with a free-standing garage for 300 cars. MKA strengthened the structure by incorporating a mix of elements that enhance performance while matching the look of the original building. The project uses exposed beams as part of the structure and incorporates many sustainable design elements, including 2,230 m² (24,000 ft²) of recycled wood, natural lighting, and 30 windows from the original structure.
