Hemisfair Civic Park

MKA provided the civil site design—including water, sewer, and stormwater utilities—and sustainability consulting for this world-class park featuring a covered historical acequia and bordered by private development.  Nearby Edwards Aquifer-related water restrictions meant the civil design had to leverage onsite water resources to meet the park's irrigation and water feature needs.  In addition, MKA coordinated with the City of San Antonio during the construction of the adjacent roadway.
