This 35,000-seat, multi-purpose venue anchors San Diego State University’s new Mission Valley campus and serves as home to the university’s football and soccer teams. The facility also hosts the San Diego FC of Major League Soccer and San Diego Wave FC of the National Women’s Soccer League. MKA worked closely with the geotechnical engineer to develop a ground improvement program to reduce seismic demands and foundation costs.
