A two-story, 18,581-m² (200,000-ft²) concourse addition that includes eight new boarding gates, improved passenger screening operations, added airside concession space, baggage handling systems, and a new connector bridge linking the south side of the terminal to the north side. MKA collaborated with Smith Group and Corgan to identify an opportunity to enhance the design solution and enable the passenger flow through Terminal 4 resulting in a savings of over $4 million by eliminating a long span, airside pedestrian bridge.
