South Town Anchor Renovation

The redemise of an existing two-story department store allowed a popular regional mall to extend its concourse and better serve shoppers and visitors. The reimagined space added a two-story atrium with vaulted skylights and clearstory to draw in natural light, as well as new entry canopies. The design also incorporated voluntary seismic upgrades to improve the structure’s existing steel-braced frames.
