San Diego (SAN) Terminal 1 and Roadways

Designed to support increased passenger demand, this project replaced an existing and outdated 19-gate terminal with a three-story facility offering 30 gates with generous seating areas, a large marketplace of diverse food and retail options, an outdoor dining terrace, and an enhanced security checkpoint.  Outside the terminal, 1.2 miles of new airport access roadways facilitate traffic circulation, while a pair of pedestrian bridges connect travelers to a new parking plaza serving 5,500 vehicles and ground transportation operations.
